However, you can easily make everything up. if that's what I'm forced to do can someone explain where the creature / skills / item information is stored? Hopefully I can salvage that so it doesn't force conflicts when looking for stuff in my events that aren't in the database. At the very worst I might have to copy and paste the events into a new project. However, when I click OK, the events show up. When I right click one of my maps and click properties, I can see that the Chipsets dropdown box is empty. the error refers to a folder) called RPG_RT and came up with NOTHING.Īlso, I've tried reinstalling the program and then reinstalling the patches. It may also be worth noting that I ran a search on my computer for folders (not files. Can someone please point me in the direction of a patch or give me a solve for this problem? I've got a very big, very intricate project in the works and I would HATE to lose it. Also, my username in windows is NOT Lucifer. for a start, I don't have a secondary hard drive, my D:\ drive is a CD drive. It seems specific to someone else's computer. Here's the error I'm getting every time I boot up RM2K and go to open my project:Īssertion failure (D:\HOME\Lucifer\RPG_RT\GR_ChipSet.pas, 489 Row)Īlso when I go into the project folder and try to run RPG_RT.exe I get an error saying "Stream Read Error" Pretty soon after I added it to a Monster Party for use in random battles, and clicked Auto Name group, it said something like access is denied and after making another party or two (after renaming the creature to remove the apostrophe), the WHOLE FREAKING GAME I've been making won't open up. I think it's because I went to make an enemy called Will o' wisp and it didn't like the apostrophe in the character name. when all of a sudden the game glitched on me and it won't let me back into my project. Having a good time tripping down memory lane with this game.Okay I was working away on my project which has taken a couple weeks of solid work, and was shaping up very well. This save was several saves after the uncorrupted save, but I think they were consecutive saves in the same session, so that I never would have known when the corruption occurred, because I wasn't reloading the saves each time.Īnyways, hope that helps someone out there. Eventually I think Elanee's badger pissed him off enough where he attacked us, and everything worked out as expected from there. For example, I was in the "Maiden's Glade", where Elanee's friend was trapped in his big white bear form, but he wouldn't do anything there was just the "speech bubble" icon when you waved the mouse over the bear, but you couldn't initiate a conversation. It started out a little messed up, repeating the dialog that I had completed on my previous save, and some of the background characters didn't seem to behave properly, but I got through it and was able to move on. For me it was Act I of the OC, and I copied 1200_Highcliff.Z from the good save to my latest save. I just started by loading my first save, then my second, etc., until I found the one that broke. Z thing does work, it's just that you may have to go back a few saves before you find one that's not corrupted.
